Detroit Pros News Release


The Detroit Pros announce the addition of players Al Williams and Jaquan Hart for the 2006 IBL season.

Al Williams is a 6'3-190lb guard from Cal State Bakersfield where he was an All Conference performer as a senior in 2003-04. He was the team leader as a rookie in the LNBP professional basketball league in 2003-04 with Gambusinos where he averaged 22 points per game and 7 assists per game. In 2004-05 Al played with the Tijuana Dragons of the ABA where he averaged 15 points per game and 5 assist per game at the point guard position. Mr. Williams is very strong with tremendous leaping ability and is sure to turn the heads of NBA scouts.

Jaquan Hart is a 6'6" 180lb guard from Flint Northern high school where he was runner up for Mr. Basketball in the State of Michigan in 2001. "Q" signed with The Ohio State University in 2001 and later transferred to Eastern Michigan University where he started at guard form 2002-04. After declaring himself eligible for the NBA draft in 2004, Jaquan worked out for the Toronto Raptors as an undrafted rookie. Jaquan is a very unique talent and has been compared to the likes of George ‘Ice-Man' Gervin due to his tremendous scoring ability and flexibility.
