Primetime Players Bring Game to TRBL

The PrimeTime Players of Rock Hill, SC have announced their acceptance into the Tobacco Road Basketball League (TRBL). The PrimeTime Players have a 20-year history playing in various minor leagues, tournaments, and exhibition games and have advanced playing careers in the United States and abroad. The team will play its home games in venues in the Rock Hill and metro Charlotte areas.

The TRBL is a new independent basketball minor league with teams operating throughout the Carolinas. The league currently has teams representing Fayetteville, Cary, Wilmington, Smithfield, and Charlotte.

The TRBL will begin play in April 2012 as a point series and will compete with a larger network of independent minor league teams in a national championship tournament at the conclusion of the Spring season. Details regarding the national tournament and league associations will be announced in the coming weeks.

ScoreTrax.com will provide score broadcasting services for all TRBL games and technology services for all TRBL teams. League operations will be funded through existing sponsorships, and qualified member teams will be charged no league fees.
