Pride Sign Pitcher Nate Berberian

(NASHUA, N.H. - April 21, 2008) Nashua Pride officials have announced the signing of pitcher Nate Berberian.

Berberian, a 6-foot 4-inch, 195-pound, right handed pitcher out of Northborough, Mass., will join the Pride staff for the 2008 season.

He is a former teammate of current Pride first baseman Brian Duplissie and outfielder Vinny Pennell at Franklin Pierce University.

Berberian impressed scouts and Pride personnel with his performance at the open tryout held at Historic Holman Stadium on Saturday, April 19th.

He is the sixth signing in five days for the Pride as the 2007 Can-Am League Champions begin to finalize their roster for the 2008 campaign.

The Nashua Pride Professional Baseball Club, entering its 11th season, provides a fun, affordable, community-based and fan-friendly source of sports entertainment. The 2007 Can-Am League Champions will be participating in its third year of play in the Canadian-American Association of Professional Baseball.
