OKC Energy FC (7-2-3 in USL; 2-0 in U.S. Open Cup) has won seven matches in a row (5 in USL play, 2 in U.S. Open Cup play) and is unbeaten in its last eight (7-0-1). In the club's last match, goals by Danni Konig and Gareth Evans, and a fifth straight clean sheet by keeper Evan Newton, helped OKC to a 2-0 win over Tulsa, which moved OKC to first place in the Western Conference of the USL. Konig's goal was his team-leading eighth of the season, while Evans's was his first in two seasons with OKC and just the second USL goal of his career (8/4/2012 with Wilmington).
FC Dallas (6-5-4 in MLS) enters Tuesday's match winless in its last five games (0-3-2), including a 4-0 loss to Energy FC parent club Sporting Kansas City on May 29. Four of Dallas' six wins this season have come on the club's home field at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX. The meeting with OKC is Dallas' first U.S. Open Cup match of 2015 as, per tournament format, MLS teams do not enter until the fourth round..
