SOUTHAVEN --- After a record setting performance in last week's first round playoff win over Louisville, Xplorers Offensive Specialist Kevin Prentiss has been rewarded with the second af2 Offensive Player of the Week award of his career.

Prentiss set league post-season records for TD receptions with 7, overall touchdowns with 8 and points scored with 48. His offensive prowess also helped the Xplorers to an af2 post-season record 83 points.

To go with all those scores, the fourth year player out of Mississippi State had 12 receptions for 192 yards and a return for a touchdown on the game's opening kickoff.

Ironically, the other time that Prentiss was named Offensive Player of the Week was in Week Two of last season. In that week's win over Amarillo, Prentiss also scored 8 touchdowns and finished with 48 points scored.

Prentiss and the Xplorers face the Green Bay Blizzard in the American Conference Semifinals tonight at 7:30 in Green Bay.

The game can be heard live on 730, ESPN.
