February 19, 2014 - Arena Football League (AFL) - Orlando Predators News Release

ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Predators solidified both sides of its line on Tuesday, as the franchise announced the additions of offensive linemen Zack Williams, Hayworth Hicks and William Brimfield, as well as defensive lineman Kentrell Harris.

Hayworth Hicks (6-3, 335, Iowa State) was signed as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts following the 2012 NFL Draft. The offensive lineman also spent time with the New York Jets, and most recently with the Kansas City Chiefs. Hicks was selected to the 2011 Second-team All-Big 12 team and was also presented with Iowa State's Arthur Floyd Scott Award as Iowa State's most outstanding lineman.

Zack Williams (6-3, 315, Washington State) was selected in the 6th round (203rd overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers. The California native had an impressive senior year with Washington State, winning the Mike Utley Award as the Cougars' lineman of the year.

Kentrell Harris (6-4, 263, Virginia Union) is entering his rookie season in the Arena Football League. The defensive end was a force during the 2012 season at Virginia Union, after finishing his senior season with 10.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. Harris was also one of two players from a Division II school to be invited to play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in Los Angeles. Although Harris went undrafted during the 2013 NFL Draft, he was immediately approached after the draft's completion by multiple teams including the Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles and Oakland Raiders; whom eventually signed him.

William Brimfield (6-6, 355, Tennessee) appeared in 28 games from 2007-2010 for the Volunteers. The offensive lineman has previous indoor football experience, but is entering his rookie season in the Arena Football League.

Orlando also completed its 11th trade of the offseason on Tuesday, sending defensive back Dominic Jones to the Cleveland Gladiators for the third overall waiver claim position.
