"On behalf of the entire Orlando Predators family, we would like to offer our condolences to the family of Al Lucas and the Los Angeles Avengers organization. Al was a fierce competitor and an outstanding football player who will be greatly missed in the Arena Football League. It is extremely difficult to understand the how and why of this tragedy. Our prayers go out to his family and the Avengers."
