"It has come with great shock and sorrow that I have heard of the passing of Al Lucas, " Storm head coach Tim Marcum said. "On behalf of the Storm, our hearts go out to his wife and family. Al was a magnificent competitor and was a critical part of our 2003 ArenaBowl championship team. He was an outstanding teammate and influence in the locker room. He will be severely missed."
