ORLANDO - October 6, 2015 - Head Coach Rob Keefe took time away from football today to pay a surprise visit to the patients of Florida Hospital for Children.

The coach of the Predators spent the afternoon visiting the children of the hospital and signing autographs. Each child and their families also received a gift that included free tickets to an Orlando Predators home game during the upcoming 2016 season.

"Today was an extremely memorable and touching experience for me," Coach Keefe said. "With childhood cancer awareness month just passing and entering breast cancer awareness month, we cannot deny that everyone knows someone who has been affected.

"I visited with children and families who are affected by chronic illnesses. To be able to visit with them and see their personalities shine through the brightness of their smiles during this trying time truly touched my heart. I am humbled and honored that I was able to spend time with these children today. Their fight has empowered me to fight even harder at everything I do."

Coach Keefe stated that he plans on returning to the hospital to continue visiting its patients throughout the team's offseason.
