Pre-Season Game In Miami Cancelled
March 30, 2008 - USL First Division (USL-1)
Montreal Impact News Release
MIAMI, Florida - The pre-season game between the Montreal Impact and the Miami FC, which was scheduled on Sunday night, was cancelled due to poor weather and field conditions.
"We have decided not to play the game," said Montreal Impact head coach Nick De Santis. "It's unfortunate, but 13 days from our first season game and after three months of preparation, we want to avoid the risk of injuries."
The Impact will be back in Montreal Monday and will start the regular season on April 12, against the Whitecaps, in Vancouver.
