Stealth moves into Kansas Coliseum
Wichita, Kansas - The Wichita Stealth will be moving onto their home field a little earlier than expected. Practice is normally scheduled to take place at Sluggers when the Coliseum is tied up. Fortunately for the Stealth a little practice time inside the 9,686 seat facility opened up and head coach Land Jacobsen jumped at the chance. "It's a huge advantage to get onto our home field a few weeks before the first game," said Jacobsen. "Some teams won't get more than two practice on their own field before their home game."
Due to the changes, the Stealth will practice at the Coliseum for the remainder of this week. A practice schedule is also attached for times and additional information. Media day is set for Friday March 20, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kansas Coliseum.
