(Saint John, NB): The Oshawa Power beat the Saint John Mill Rats on a buzzer beating three point shot from Akeem Wright, making the final score 91-88 at Harbour Station in front of 1,708 fans.

Saint John once again fell behind early, trailing 17-6 at the outset but by the end of first half, clawed back to a 47-43 halftime lead.

The Power led 88-84 with 1:10 remaining, but Greg Plummer scored on a slicing layup plus earned a trip to the free throw line. His free throw missed, but Antoine Tisby collected the rebound and dropped in the put-back to tie the game. On the final possession, the Mill Rats got the stop they needed but Anthony Anderson's driving shot missed with under 5 seconds left, setting up the final stage for Wright's dagger to win the game.

The Oshawa Power move to 4-6, while the Mill Rats fall to 5-4.

Saint John is back at Harbour Station again tomorrow night at 7pm as they host the Halifax Rainmen. The Mill Rats will also be retiring former Mill Rat David Cooper's #7 jersey in honour of his longstanding commitment on and off the court.
