
Power Re-Acquire QB Bill Stull, Pr 3-19

The Pittsburgh Power have re-acquired quarterback Bill Stull, who had who originally
signed with the Power late in the 2011 season, to compete immediately for playing
time.
Stull started the 2011 season finale verses the Philadelphia Soul, guiding the team to
a convincing victory with six touchdown passes. For his efforts, Stull was named the
National Guard MVP of the game. "Bill has all the tools to be a great quarterback in
this league and we look forward to having him back," said head coach Chris Siegfried.
"It was a win-win, we got a quarterback we coveted with Pittsburgh roots, and he gets
a situation where he can manage both his academic work at the University of
Pittsburgh and continue his football career at the same time." Stull added, "Being able
to play in my hometown in front of family and friends is great. This is a perfect
situation for me, and there is a high level of comfort with my teammates, a practice
facility I've practiced in for 5 years, and coaches I've worked with before. With my
degree near completion, the timing has worked out well for me."
Stull led the University of Pittsburgh to 10 wins and a bowl victory against the
University of North Carolina as a senior in 2009. He finished his college career with
5,532 yards passing and 32 touchdowns. After a brief stint with Hartford in the UFL,
Stall went to camp with the Kansas City Chiefs, and also played with the Spokane
Shock prior to joining the Power.
The Power take on cross-state rival the Philadelphia Soul Friday, March 23rd , 8:00 PM
EDT, at COSNOL Energy Center. The Power and Soul are tied atop of the American
Conference, Eastern Division at 1-0.
The game feature the largest indoor fireworks displays in Pittsburgh history It will air
