Mississauga Power News Release
(Mississauga, ON - ) On Saturday, March 14th 2015, the Mississauga Power will be visiting the Mississauga YMCA for "Y Teen Night"! The Power players, coaches, Dance Pak and Pow the Mascot will be on hand to interact with the community members and add to the festivities. Participants of the night will have the opportunity to take on the Power players in a variety of sports, video games and dancing.
"Y Teen Nights" provide a safe space where teens are empowered to make their own decisions and build self-esteem and confidence. The YMCA is breaking down the barriers to free public places by offering teens across the GTA a place to socialize, seek support and participate in healthy activities. The Power street team will be posting photos and videos from the night under #TeenPower.
"We are very excited to be partnering with YMCA Mississauga for this community outreach opportunity," stated Mississauga Power Marketing and Events Director, Nella Noakes, "We are happy to engage with our young Power Nation fans whenever we have the opportunity. Saturday night will give us a forum to reinforce the message of stopping anti-bullying and the importance of physical activity because together we have the POWER to make a difference!"
The event is set to begin at 5pm at 325 Burnhamthorpe Road West and is free to all teenagers. Come POWER ON at the Mississauga YMCA for TEEN NIGHT this Saturday!
