(Pittsburgh, May 21, 2012) The Power is making an organizational change to finish out the rest of the season. Chris Siegfried is stepping down as the Head Coach of the Power.

The Power thank Coach Siegfried for his commitment to the organization, the City of Pittsburgh, our fans, and wish him well in his future endeavors.

Derek Stingley will take over as the Interim Head Coach of the Power effective immediately. "Coach Stingley leads the number one defense in the Arena Football League, and we are confident his strong leadership skills are what we need to get things moving in the right direction." said Matt Shaner Owner of the Power.

Former Pittsburgh Steeler, and 15 year NFL veteran Mike Tomczack will be stepping into the role of Offensive Coordinator for the Power. "We believe Coach Tomczack's expertise, and experience working with quarterbacks is exactly what we need to turn our offence around as we move forward this season." said Shaner.

The Power's next game is on the road against the Arizona Rattlers Saturday June 9, 2012 at 10:00pm est. The game will be televised live on the CW network, and the radio broadcast will be live on SportsTalk on Trib Live Radio http://sportstalk.triblive.com/.
