
Power Handed Tough Loss by A's

(Mississauga, ON -) The Power traveled cross town to face the Brampton A's at the Powerade Centre tonight. The A's came out strong and did not look back, taking the game 129-96. Morgan Lewis led the team with 23 points and 9 rebounds while Kirk Williams Jr. chipped in with 20. 9 players scored in double figures fore the A's, led by Cavell Johnson's 20 points.
The A's came out strong in the first quarter, starting the game on a 10-2 run and firing on all cylinders early. The Power were limited to just 19 points while the A's scored 41 of their own.
In the second, the A's continued to click, starting on a 9-4 run. The A's made ten three pointers in the first half, giving them a 69-37 lead as the Power continued to struggle on offense.
The A's stayed hot in the second half, extending the lead to 40 and never looked back. The Power have dropped to 8-23 with the loss.
The Power will have a rematch with the A's at home in the Hershey Centre this Thursday in a special school day edition game at 11 a.m.
