Power Fall to 3-7 After Loss in Charlottetown

(Charlottetown, PEI - ) The Mississauga Power traveled to Charlottetown to face the Storm tonight and have fallen to 3-7, two days after snapping a losing streak at home. Nick Okorie's career high 41 points and Thijin Moses' career high 20 points was not enough for the Power as the team lost to the Storm 118-107.

The Storm sprinted out of the gate, building up a 30-16 lead after an Adrian Moss three pointer to end the first quarter. Thijin Moses scored 10 points in the first four minutes of the second quarter to help the Power cut into the Storm's lead to 11 heading into halftime.

Okorie scored 12 of his 41 points in the third quarter but the Storm continued to grow the lead as the team outscored the Power 29-23 to take a 87-70 lead heading into the final quarter. The Power started the 4th quarter on a 6-0 run before the Storm went on a run of their own to seize control of the game. The Storm never looked back as the team went on for the 118-107 victory.
