
Power Assistant Coach Makes Move to China

(Mississauga, ON - ) Mississauga Power Assistant Coach, Sean Bookal, has accepted a coaching position for the Sho1 basketball team in Beijing, China. Coach Bookal leaves the Power with experiences as an Assistant Coach of the current 2013-2014 team and as a Head Coach of the Power's Canadian Development Team. The Power Canadian Development team played in the "Four Nations Tournament" in China this past summer. The team consisted of Canadian players who were given a chance to develop their skills at an international level, playing against New Zealand's National Team, Cameroon's National Team and a professional team from China. Before joining the Power, Coach Bookal was an Assistant Coach for University of Windsor and the Head Coach of Eastern Commerce Collegiate's Junior team.
"Being a part of the Mississauga Power Basketball organization has truly been nothing short of a boost in my coaching career. Having this organization and the NBL Canada on my resume has given me the advantage needed to secure my future coaching position in Beijing, China," said Coach Bookal. "I would like to thank the organization for their knowledge, support and guidance in helping me make an informed decision to pursue my dream job."
