Potters Generosity Extends on and off Field

June 26, 2018 - Great West League (GWL)
Medford Rogues News Release

LINCOLN, Ca. - The Potters donated their team van to pick up the Rogues players and coaching staff from a church parking in Rocklin lot after the Rogues' team bus broke down stranded just 8 miles from their hotel. During the game, 14 free passes issued by the Potters and a three-run home run by right fielder Tommy Ahlstrom (Simpson University) in the third inning propelled the Rogues past the Potters, 8-5.

Left fielder Josh McIntyre made a terrific diving grab to rob Potters catcher Alonzo Rubalcaba of a base hit.

The Rogues will play Game Two tomorrow, and will then finish three game series against the Potters on Wednesday. They will then return home on Friday, June 29th to kick-off another jam-packed weekend against the Chico Heat.
