TEAM NOTABLES
On Crystal Robinson's Ring of Honor induction night, the New York Liberty (11-15) fell to the Phoenix Mercury (14-10), 79-106 (franchise-high against the Liberty), in their second matchup of the 2021 regular season tying the head-to-head season series.
At Barclays Center, New York finished on 37.8% (28-74) shooting from the field, 36.1% (13-36) from three, and 83.3% (10-12) at the free throw line.
New York finished with 33 rebounds, 10 of which were offensive, 19 team assists, seven steals, and four blocks.

PLAYER NOTABLES
Four Liberty players scored in double figures in tonight's game (Laney, Richards, Allen, Ionescu)
2021 WNBA All-Star Betnijah Laney finished with 20 points on 47.4% (9-19) shooting, including 50% (2-4) shooting from deep, eight rebounds, and five assists; her 13th 20+ point game this season.
DiDi Richards led the Liberty bench's scoring reaching career-highs of 14 points on 62.5% (5-8) from the field and 80% (4-5) from deep over 25 minutes of play.
For the fourth consecutive game, Rebecca Allen scored in double figures returning to the starting lineup for her seventh time this season. She finished with 12 points on 37.5% (3-8) shooting from behind the three-point arc, a season-high eight rebounds, and three steals.
Sabrina Ionescu tallied 10 points, a team-high seven assists and five rebounds. This is her 14th game scoring in double figures this season, and fifth consecutive 10+ point game post-Olympic break.
Skylar Diggins-Smith finished with a game-high 27 points on 62.5% (10-16) shooting from the field and 57.1% (4-7) from deep. She also added five assists and three rebounds.
Brittney Griner tallied 26 points on 64.7% (11-17) from the field along nine rebounds and six assists.
