On Thursday, the New York Liberty (8-11) fell to the Atlanta Dream (9-11), 92-81, in the second meeting of their 2022 four-game season series.
At Barclays Center, the Liberty finished on 39.4% (26-66) shooting from the field, 32.3% (10-31) from three, and 79.2% (19-24) at the free throw line.

Q1: The Liberty went on a 5-0 run from the 2:32 mark of the first through the end of the quarter.
Q2: Atlanta opened the second on a 16-6 run through the 5:20 mark of the quarter to take a 29-25 lead.
Q3: Atlanta went on a 9-0 run from the 7:27 mark of the third to the 4:10 mark of the quarter.
Q4: Capped by a Sami Whitcomb three-pointer, New York went on a 13-0 run from the 8:12 mark of the fourth through the 4:38 mark of the quarter to take 67-63 lead. In total, New York used a 22-6 rally from the 7:41 mark of the fourth to the 2:26 mark in the quarter to take 74-69 lead.
OT: Atlanta opened the extra period on a 9-0 run through the 2:34 mark of the period.
PLAYER NOTABLES
Four Liberty players scored in double figures in tonight's game (Dolson, Ionescu, Howard, Johannès).
Highlighted by her 14-point fourth quarter, Stefanie Dolson finished with a team-high 20 points on 66.7% (8-12) shooting from the floor, including 66.7% (2-3) from deep, and seven rebounds. Her 20-point performance marked a season high in scoring.
Sabrina Ionescu totaled 17 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists - her third point-rebound double-double of the season and fourth-straight game with eight-plus boards. Her 13 rebounds tied a career high and marks a franchise record by a starting guard.
Natasha Howard recorded her 2,500th career point at the 5:01 mark of the second quarter, becoming the 102nd player in league history to do so. On the evening, Howard finished with 13 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks.
Marine Johannès finished with 12 points, including 50% (3-6) from deep, and four assists. This marked her fourth consecutive game with three-plus makes from beyond the arc.
For Atlanta, Tiffany Hayes finished with a game-high 21 points, including nine points in OT.
