STOCKTON, Calif. - With the Ports back in town May 17th as they host the visiting San Jose Giants at Banner Island Ballpark, fans can look forward to a week-long homestand of premium promotions, including a tribute to Stockton's favorite food and the chance for spectators to bring their four-legged friends to a game.
Tuesday, May 17th - As the Ports welcome the San Jose Giants in game one of a three-game series beginning at 7:10pm, fans can purchase a family four pack which includes four hot dogs, four sodas, and four Field box tickets for only $40.
Wednesday, May 18th - In game two of the series, the Ports will host the third SCAN Silver Sluggers game of 2016, complete with baseball bingo presented by Food 4 Less and Rancho San Miguel Markets when fans have the opportunity to win a $100 gift card to Food 4 Less and tickets to future Ports games.
Thursday, May 19th - Join the Ports for day baseball as the Ports open gates at 10:00am for the 11:10am star time for Banner Island Ballpark's second Education Day of the season, presented by Delta Charter Schools. Students, teachers, and chaperones will fill the park for this fun-filled, educational baseball game as the Ports and Giants end their three-game series.
Friday, May 20th - The first 1,000 lucky fans in attendance will receive a Friday alternate replica jersey as part of the Ports' Free Shirt Friday giveaway series, courtesy of Premier Staffing as the Ports begin a four-game homestand against the visiting Visalia Rawhide. Don't forget to stop by the Port of Stockton Guest Services Center to pick up your Splash 4 Cash balls and stick around after the game for your chance to win prizes including A's tickets, Ports hats, and more, with a grand prize of $100 cash.
Saturday, May 21st - Don't miss out as the Ports honor Stockton's favorite vegetable at Asparagus Night, complete with asparagus-themed jerseys, asparagus eating contests, asparagus races, and more, with gates opening at 5:45pm to the general public and 5:30pm for Season Ticket Holders. Make sure to visit the team store for a chance to bid on the limited edition Asparagus Night jersey, in addition to the booth behind the Ports' press box to check out the Anchor Fund's yearly memorabilia and community raffle. Fans can stick around after the game for a postgame fireworks show, courtesy of Food 4 Less and Rancho San Miguel Markets, in addition to Splash 4 Cash.
Sunday, May 22nd - On Sunday, fans can bring along their furry friends for the Ports' annual Bark in the Ballpark when local organizations will be on-hand hosting dog adoptions and fans and their companions can participate in the pre-game puppy parade. Additionally, the Ports will welcome Society for DisABILITIES who will be collecting gently used clothing at the gates, and Banner Island Ballpark will go silent for an inning to bring awareness to communication disorders as the Ports team up with California Speech Language Hearing Association. From 1:15pm to 1:30pm, fans can play catch on the field, and immediately following the game, kids 12 and under can take their turn trotting around the bases. As part of Subway Kids' Club Sunday, all Kids' Club members receive free admission, and fans can visit local the local MetroPCS for a $2 Home Run Hill ticket voucher. Nine lucky kids will be chosen to take the field with the players for Jr. Ports for Sunrun Sunday and Ports players will be near the main gates as they open at 1:00pm for general public and 12:45pm for Season Ticket Holders to sign autographs for Anchor Fund Weekend.
Monday, May 22nd - The Ports wrap up the seven-game homestand in game four against the Visalia Rawhide on Social Media Monday when fans can win prizes during the Ports' #TweetFromYourSeat promotion, and social media followers can purchase a $5 Field Box ticket at the Stockton Ports Box Office.
