
Polino Commits to R.P.I.

Lincoln, Neb. - Stars forward Patrick Polino has committed to Rensselear Polytechnic Institute, the team announced on Wednesday.
Polino has 39 goals and 49 assists in 192 USHL games. In his second season with the Stars, Polino has 17 points in 23 games.
"Excited to announce my commitment to R.P.I.," Polino said via Twitter. "Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way."
The fourth-year forward will join former Stars Cam Hackett, Jake Wood, Jimmy Devito, Riley Bourbannais and Parker Reno at R.P.I. Polino becomes the ninth player on the Stars roster to commit to play in the ECAC.
"In my short time here in Lincoln I don't know if I've been prouder of one player working his way to get a commitment from a NCAA school," Stars GM Jon Hull said. "Patrick embodies our culture here in Lincoln."
