
Point Guard Al Stewart Joins Frost Heaves

Barre, VT - the Vermont Frost Heaves have added 5'10" guard Al Stewart to their 2010 PBL roster. Stewart, a 5'10" speedster who is widely regarded as the fastest player ever to come out of Drake University, averaged 16.7 points, 7.6 assists, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.8 steals per game last season for the Manchester Millrats.
He was All-PBL Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2009 and was selected for the All-PBL Defensive Team in 2009.
Stewart joins Vermont veterans Dwuan Rice and Aaron Cook at the guard position and will be in uniform Friday Night when the Frost Heaves host the Aericibo Capitanes from Puerto Rico in Barre at 7:05 p.m.
To make room on their 12-man roster for Stewart the Frost Heaves have released Mike Trimboli.
