The 2011 playoff season is finally set and, after a nip and tuck battle for top position, the Danbury Westerners have been chosen to visit Keene on Wednesday 8/3 evening (6:30) to begin their drive toward the NECBL title.
Their first challenge will be the division leading Keene SwampBats who wrapped-up the pennant on the final day of regular season knocking Holyoke out of top position.
On Thursday 8/4 evening the two teams return to Danbury for game two of the best-of-three playoffs at Rogers Park at 6:30pm.
Fans do come early for seats or bring your lawn chairs! Thursday is a special night in support of Cancer Awareness as we celebrate the good works of the Susan Curtain Foundation, The Jimmy Fund and Ann's Place, The Home of I Can
