
Playoffs set for top ULB clubs

There were some close calls, but the top four United League Baseball teams have been set for the 2010 playoffs.
The defending ULB champion and first place Amarillo Dillas were to play in Harlingen Tuesday night against the fourth place Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings and the second place Edinburg Roadrunners were to go against the third place Laredo Broncos in Laredo.
The scenes switch to Amarillo and Edinburg on Wednesday for the second game in the best two of three series.
The final games, if necessary, will be played in Amarillo and Edinburg on Thursday.
The best three of five games for the league championship will start on Friday.
Each of the final two clubs is guaranteed at least two home games.
