Playoff-Bound Vision Host Magicians

ATLANTA, GA - February 22, 2006-Atlanta Vision will host the Birmingham Magicians this weekend for their last home games of the regular ABA season. The Vision has won 12 of their last 13 games and should solidify their first round play-off bye with two wins against the improved Magicians. Community Night is the theme for the Friday, February 24th home game with tip-off at 7:35pm. Saturday, February 25th game is Fan Appreciation Night with numerous contests, entertainment, and give-a-ways for all Vision fans and sponsors. 'We invite the entire DeKalb community and surrounding areas to be a part of a winning organization," comments Vision co-owner, Akilah Townsend, 'Our last home game will be very exciting and we want to have fun with the fans as we push towards an ABA Championship."

The match-up between the Vision and the Magicians will be intense. The Vision are coming off a 123 to 85 and 107 to 96 win over the strong Mississippi team this past weekend led by leading scorers ABA All-Star Cedric 'On Call" McGinnis, Kendrick 'Undisputed" Jones, and Stanley 'The Closer" Jackson. The Birmingham Magicians are coming off a home court win against the #1 team in the league, Indiana Alley Cats and have new roster additions. Although, the Vision has won 5 out of the 7 meetings against the Magicians, these divisional rivals always give fans a close game and a great battle. "This weekend will show us where we stand for play-off contention," states Vision General Manager Dennis Scott, 'Our first year team is doing very well and we need the support of every Atlanta Vision fan at Friday's and Saturday's game." There will be fun contests and special give-a-ways for participating fans from AmeriSuites, Buffalo Wild Wings, and other Vision partners.
