Players of the Week Named for Week 5

The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the Week Five Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week winners. The Milwaukee Wave's Ian Bennett earned the offensive win and Kansas City Comets' James Togbah won the defensive honors.
Reigning MVP Ian Bennett rallied for five goals in Milwaukee's New Years Eve win over the visiting Utica City FC. Two of these goals came on the power play and one was the game-winning goal.
Defender James Togbah, a native of Monrovia, Liberia played in two games for the Kansas City Comets. Through those games he scored two goals, one assist, and recorded one block. One of his goals secured the win for the Comets against rivals St. Louis Ambush.
