
Pittsburgh Power Signs LB Justin Parrish and OL Jason Jones

The Pittsburgh Power announced the signings of linebacker Justin Parrish and offensive lineman Jason Jones.
Parrish, a standout at Kent State where he recorded a school record 25 sacks, played the last two seasons for the Jacksonville Sharks, contributing 34 tackles, 32 assists and 7 sacks. Prior to his seasons in Jacksonville, Parrish played with Wilkes- Barre/Scranton in the af2 after a tryout with the Washington Redskins.
Jason Jones played most of the 2011 season with the Milwaukee Mustangs after starting the year with the Cleveland Gladiators. Jones displayed his versatility playing offensive and defensive line, and also fullback, where he had 9 pass receptions -- including two for touchdowns. While in college at Idaho, Jones started at defensive line as a junior and offensive line as a senior. Jones also has played with Quad City in the af2.
"Jason and Justin are experienced AFL contributors," said head coach Chris Siegfried. "They both provide versatility and experience."
