Pittsburgh Power News Release

(Pittsburgh, October 10, 2011) The Pittsburgh Power signed defensive lineman Dominie Pittman and place kicker Taylor Rowan.

Dominie Pittman, from the University of North Alabama, comes to the Power following a two-year stint with the BC Lions of the CFL. "Dominie brings us size and pass rushing ability, and a long history of being able to get to the quarterback and disrupt an opponent's offense," commented Siegfried.

Taylor Rowan played collegiately at Western Illinois where he was named as an All- American and named All-Conference in the Gateway Conference (currently Missouri Valley Football Conference). Rowan set a NCAA record 129 strait extra points before finishing his college career with 160 PATs in 162 attempts. Professionally, Rowan has played in the UFL with the New York Sentinels prior to playing for the past two seasons with the Spokane Shock. In 2010, Rowan finished the year perfect as a field goal kicker and led the AFL with 140 PATs (including playoffs) for the Arena Bowl Champion Sparks. "Taylor has proven himself consistently accurate and has made pressure kicks time and time again," Siegfried remarked.
