Pirates Announce On-Sale Date for Individual Tickets

Portland, ME - The Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League announced today that individual tickets for all 38 games to be played at the Cumberland County Civic Center during the 2011-12 season will go on sale to the general public Monday, September 26th at 9:30 a.m. at the Civic Center Box Office and on-line at ticketmaster.com.

Advance ticket prices are $14 for Quarter Deck, $17 for Main Deck and $18 for Premium Main Deck. Student/Senior pricing is $12 for Quarter or Main Deck tickets and $13 for Premium Main Deck seating. Purchase your tickets in advance and save on the $2 increase on all ticket prices for day of game purchases.

Don't miss your chance to beat the rush and get your individual game tickets for premium game night giveaways including three collectible mini-bobblehead games on January 20 (Andy Miele), February 3 (Dean Arsene) and March 2 (Curtis McElhinney); and the Time Warner Cable Pirates hat giveaway on March 11. Adding to the promotional calendar glitz for the 2011-12 season is a festive "Green Night" St. Patrick's Day game on March 17 where the Pirates will be wearing holiday-themed green jerseys, and "Dollar Desert Dogs" nights featured on each of the nine Friday home games during the season where fans can purchase their "Dollar Desert Dogs" for a single dollar at any of the Civic Center concession locations on the concourse from an hour before faceoff until 10 minutes after the second period begins.

Tickets to the Pirates only home game of the 2011-12 Training Camp season, against the Manchester Monarchs on Sunday, October 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at the Cumberland County Civic Center, are on sale now! Pirates fans are encouraged to take advantage of this rare opportunity to catch a first glimpse of the future stars of the Phoenix Coyotes and welcome in a new era of Portland Pirates Hockey, "Coyotes Style". Following the game a post-game skate, sponsored by Steele Hill Resorts and Mercy Hospital, will be offered to all fans to meet and skate with the new members of the Pirates. Tickets are being sold for $5. The Pirates will open their 19th season of competition, presented by Bill Dodge Auto Group, on the road against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Saturday, October 8th at 7 p.m. The high-flying action will open at home for the 34th season of AHL action at the Cumberland County Civic Center, on Saturday, October 15th when the Manchester Monarchs visit in a 7 p.m. start, featuring a JobsinME.com Magnetic Schedule giveaway.
