
Pioneers to Hold Second Team Tryout

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers News Release
(Wilkes-Barre, PA) The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers are excited to announce that they will be holding their second open tryout for the upcoming 2008 season on Sunday, December 2, 2007. The team was assigned three players from the first open tryout which was held on October 21st. Coach Rich Ingold strongly encourages all interested players to attend the tryout, because this may be the last chance to tryout for the 2007 American Conference Champion Pioneers.
The tryout will take place at the Wyoming Valley Sports Dome in Wilkes-Barre, PA and will begin promptly at 10:00a.m. Registration will begin at 9:00a.m. and a registration fee of $50 cash is required upon arrival. Coach Ingold will be testing athletes on the 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, and individual and group drills. Coach recommends that all participants come prepared in proper attire including field turf spikes and shorts.
