Pioneers Offer Upper Level Two-For-One Ticket Special for June 20th Home Game

Wilkes-Barre, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers will offer a buy-one-get-one-free special on all upper level seats for the team's June 20th home game against the Rochester Brigade. Upper level tickets are priced at $16.00 for mid-field (Green section) and $9.00 for the end zones (Red section). Tickets may be purchased at the First Union Arena box office or through Ticketmaster (570-693-4100 or www.ticketmaster.com).
"We're committed to providing affordable family entertainment," said Pioneers President/General Manager Dave Berryman. "I hope fans take advantage of this special and come out in force to cheer on the team."
Prior to the game, the Pony Express dance team will host the second Jr. Pony Express clinic of 2003. The clinic includes two hours of dance instruction by members of the Pony Express, a ticket to that night's game, an official Pioneers T-shirt, and the chance to perform a halftime routine with the dance team.
The clinic will be held from 3:30PM through 5:30PM. Registration is $30.00 including a game ticket or $20.00 without and is open to girls ages six through twelve. The cutoff date for registration is Thursday, June 19th at 5:00PM. Anyone interested in registering for the dance clinic may contact the Pioneers administrative office at 570-270-3848.
The theme for the June 20th game is Hawaiian shirt night, and the first 1,000 fans to arrive at the First Union Arena will receive a free Pony Express dance team calendar (limit one per fan).
The Pioneers have also scheduled the outdoor pre-game Fanfest prior to the game (5:00PM to 7:00PM) in the parking area adjacent to the arena box office. Fanfest will feature the Pepsi Interactive Fan Zone, food and drink specials, and much more.
