Casper, WY - Due to his tireless efforts to provide outstanding family fun for all ages, the Pioneer League Board of Directors has selected Danny Tetzlaff as the 2006 Pioneer League Executive of the Year. During the 2006 season, the Rockies set a season attendance record single game attendance record.
The 2006 season marks the second season as President / General Manager of the Casper Rockies for Tetzlaff and his sixth year in minor league baseball. Tetzlaff has worked to lead the club to new heights in all departments and is involved in all aspects of the club's operations with an emphasis on corporate partnerships.
"I am very honored to be selected for this award by the members of the Pioneer League," said Casper Rockies General Manager Danny Tetzlaff. "This is a result of the hard work of a great staff and the outstanding support of our fans throughout Wyoming."
Under his guidance and leadership, Tetzlaff has seen the season attendance grow each year. Much of this success can be attributed to Tetzlaff's focus on making the Casper Rockies an integral part of the community. Numerous community nights were held at the ballpark highlighted by a Wyoming Symphony Orchestra concert.
Tetzlaff is a member of the Casper Rotary Club and serves on multiple committees as well as the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra Board. The Winston-Salem, North Carolina native is a graduate of UNC Charlotte with a degree in Business Administration.
