PHOENIX - The Phoenix Roadrunners of the ECHL have announced that all Roadrunners home games and select road games in 2005-06 will be available to watch through pay-per-view online webcasts that can be purchased through the team's official website at www.phxroadrunners.com.
Through a partnership with B2 Networks LLC, fans will be able to click the Watch the Game Live icon at the Roadrunners website to view and listen to the game. These broadcasts are available to fans for a charge of $6 per game. All 36 Roadrunners home broadcasts will be available in addition to over 25 road games in Alaska, Idaho, Utah, San Diego, Bakersfield, and Fresno. In order to be able to catch the action, fans must have a high speed internet connection (Cable, T1 or DSL) and Windows Media Player 9 or higher.
"B2 Networks made a huge impact in its first full season in the ECHL last year, and we're ecstatic to come on board and give our fans the same opportunity to watch their favorite players both home and away," said Roadrunners COO Ray Delia.
By joining B2 Networks, the Roadrunners will partner with a company that has broadcast more than 1,000 sporting events on it's exclusive broadband network, including the ECHL Kelly Cup Finals for the last two years.
"B2 Networks is honored to add the Phoenix Roadrunners as our 20th franchise from the ECHL," said Greg P. Bell, B2 Networks Owner and CEO. "America West Arena is a premier venue for broadcasting and we look forward to a great partnership during the Roadrunners inaugural season and beyond."
