
Phoenix FC Signs Defender Isaiah Schafer

Phoenix (April 29, 2013) - Phoenix FC has signed Defender Isaiah Schafer, who most recently was in training camp with the MLS Seattle Sounders and played in the PDL with the Colorado Foxes in 2011 and 2012.
"Isaiah is a versatile defender with good speed and strength and a natural right back which should help and improve our backfield," said Head Coach Dave Robertson.
This new addition joins signed players Striker Darren Mackie, Midfielder Diego Faria, Defender Devon Grousis, Forward Aaron King, Midfielder Reid Schmitt, Defender Brad Keller, Defender Renan Felipe Boufleur, Midfielder Netinho, Defender Cyprian Hedrick, Defender Scott Morrison, Midfielder Anthony Obodai, Defender Brian Holmes, Midfielder Tommy Ramos, Midfielder Jose Ramos and Goalkeeper Humberto Soriano, Goalkeeper Andrew Weber, Defender Elliot Weber, Forward Danny Toia, Goalkeeper Sheldon Parkinson, Forward Anthony Tokpah, Midfielder Josh Bento, Forward Cameron Vickers, Forward Peabo Doue and Forward Travis Bowen.
