Philadelphia Union Train Ahead of Nationally Televised Match vs. New York Red Bulls

Chester, Pa. (March 24, 2013) - Philadelphia Union train this week ahead of a matchup against Eastern Conference rivals New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena, a nationally televised match on NBC Sports Network Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

The Union's weekly radio program, "The 90th Minute," on CBS Sports Radio 610 will host its third show of the year on Tuesday, March 19 at Chickie's and Pete's in Northeast Philadelphia. The show, hosted by veteran television personality and current Union executive Carl Cherkin, Philadelphiaunion.com editor Kerith Gabriel and Union defender Chris Albright, will feature Union forward Sebastien Le Toux as a guest this week.

Union midfielder Keon Daniel started in Trinidad and Tobago's friendly draw against Belize on Saturday, making his 53rd appearance for his country. Trinidad and Tobago will travel to Peru for a friendly match against the Peruvian National Team on Tuesday, March 26.

Philadelphia Union improved their all-time international friendly record at PPL Park to 5-1 on Saturday, as the club defeated Mexican side Pumas UNAM 1-0 on a goal from midfielder Michael Farfan in the 68th minute. Farfan received a ball behind the defense from forward Aaron Wheeler, making his first appearance in a Union jersey, before slotting home in the bottom left corner. 2013 Supplemental Draft selection Leo Fernandes also made his debut for Philadelphia, playing the full 90 minutes in the match.
