Philadelphia Soul to Host Tryouts in Memphis and Houston

PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League have announced their open tryout dates for the Memphis, TN and Houston, TX areas.
Tryouts will be held in Memphis on October 18th at Sheffield High School located at 4315 Sheffield Ave, Memphis, TN 38118 and in Houston on October 25th at Rice Stadium located at 6100 S Main St, Houston, TX 77251. Registration for the Memphis tryout will begin at 8 a.m. and at 9 a.m. for the Houston tryout.
"We're looking to build a team and these tryouts are a way to find some hidden talent," said Director of Player Personnel/Assistant Head Coach Robert Smith. "We're exploring every option to building a team and open tryouts have produced some great athletes in the past."
Tryouts are open to the public and will be held for every position. Registration is $50, cash only. Athletes are required to bring workout gear, including a t-shirt, shorts and sneakers.
