Philadelphia Soul News Release
PHILADELPHIA (February 2, 2011) - The Philadelphia Soul have launched their mobile website which will provide user-friendly access to the Soul's website (www.philadelphiasoul.com/mobile) on most smart phones and mobile devices. The mobile site, created and hosted by Crilly Design, will allow fans to easily access and navigate through team news, statistics, and player bios, along with other content currently available on the team's site.
"While re-establishing the Soul brand, we cannot overlook the necessity of communication with our fans," said Soul VP/COO John Adams. "Personal interest might get fans to our site, but adapting to their needs and using the 24/7 news cycle to our advantage keeps them coming back."
Other highlighted features include: 'Jaws Corner' and 'Ask Coach Ho' in the Fanzone, a streamlined navigation bar, ticket information, and social networking ties with Facebook and Twitter. The team had planned to release a mobile version of the website since its re-launch on September 15, 2010. The release of the Soul's mobile site marks the first of its kind in AFL history.
