The Palm Beach Phantoms added two new players to the team roster this week. Kevin Jackson Hamilton (OL/DL), a standout player at Palm Beach Lakes High School in West Palm Beach, and Heath Miller (WR) were both added to the squad.
Hamilton starred at Palm Beach Lakes, and later played at Bethune Cookman College in Florida. Injury sidelined his career at Bethune Cookman, but Hamilton revived his talent while playing for the Riviera Beach (FL) Panthers for almost two years. He then played a year for the semi-pro South Florida Bandits. Hamilton was drawn to the Phantoms after being asked to give pro football another try.
Miller attended Glades Central High School, but did not play football for discover his talent until he played for the semi-pro Washington Chiefs. After two years with the Chiefs, Miller shared the field with Hamilton while playing seven years for the South Florida Bandits. Another Phantoms star, Nakia Jenkins, recommended the Phantoms, and Miller signed on immediately.
The Phantoms are looking forward to the skill and talent of Hamilton and Miller, and look forward to utilizing them in Saturday's game against Osceola Football in Delray Beach.
