Palm Beach Phantoms News Release
The Phantoms would like to welcome the following players to the 2006 line-up:
Ron Boldin - OL 6' 7" 300 lbs
Florida State University
Formewr Buffalo Bills player. Ron is a very humble guy. He is a strong fast lineman that defensive personal will not forget. Ron is working his way back into the NFL and will always remember the NIFL when he is playing back in the NFL.
Jajuan Seider- QB 6'2" 220 lbs
West Virginia/FAMU
Won the Black Heisman Trophy. NFL- Drafted in the 6th round to the San Diego Charges. Jajuan could have been one of the best QB's in the NFL but due to a family tragedy Jajuan had to come home to his family and was later cut by the Chargers. Jajuan is on a rebound and will be the best QB that in this league no doubt.
Doug Parker - RB 6' 0" 225 lbs
Florida Atlantic University-
All time leading rusher. NFL- Miami Dolphins. Doug is a power runner with top speed. Doug attended the Dolphins camp last year and was cut due to the number of running backs the Dolphins had such as Ricky Williams, Ronnie Brown, Travis Minor. Doug is another player that we feel will be in the NFL very soon... maybe to soon.
Brad Johnson- DB 6' 0" 215 lbs
Oklahoma State University
NIFL - Miami Morays. Brad Johnson led the Morays in tackles last year and brings NIFL experience to the new franchise. Brad has been named Captain of defense.
Anthony Bugeja- Kicker 6' 0" 200 lbs
Methodist College
NFL- Steelers. Anthony is a very strong and accurate kicker that attended Steelers camp.
Darnelius Jones - WR 6' 3" 212 lbs
Edward Waters. Darnelius Jones in brother of Fred Taylor of the Jacksonville Jaguars. His speed and Vertical jump is out of this world. Keep your eyes on Darnelius he will be playing in the NFL soon. The next Randy Moss?
Lefann Williams- RB 5' 11" 200 lbs
South Florida. NFL- Redskins
Lefann is a quick strong runner that was under rated by the NFL because of his size but watch out this kid has serious game.
