Phantoms Give Back with Fan Appreciation Week

YOUNGSTOWN, OH (Monday, March 23rd, 2009) - When the Mahoning Valley Phantoms host the Alpena IceDiggers on Thursday and Friday to conclude the 2008-2009 regular season, it will be part of their "Fan Appreciation Week."
As part of the the Fan Appreciation Week promotion, the Phantoms are offering tickets on a "Buy One-Get One Free" basis to both Thursday's game at the Chevrolet Centre and Friday's game at the Ice Zone in Boardman.
Fans interested in purchasing the "Buy One-Get One Tickets" can call the Phantom Box Office at (330) 965-7500.
The offer applies to all tickets at both venues, including $12.50 Club Seats and On-the-Ice Blue Seats at Thursday's contest against the IceDiggers.
In addition to the special offer for tickets, the team will also be giving fans a special discount at the Phantoms Team Shop.
During the games at both the Centre and the Ice Zone, the Phantoms will have all team merchandise on sale for 40% off, including the newest line of Phantoms hooded sweatshirts and replicas of the new 2008-2009 orange and black jerseys.
"The fans of the Valley have helped us set team records for attendance during the 2008-2009 season and we are more than happy to give back to them with our exciting Fan Appreciation week promotion," says Phantoms Team President Bruce J. Zoldan.
The two-game set kicks off on Thursday at the Chevrolet Centre at 7:15 PM. The scene for the series-and the regular season-finale shifts to the Ice Zone for a 7:15 PM puck drop on Friday.
Both games will be broadcast locally on ESPN Radio 1240, WBBW-AM, and worldwide at MVPPhantoms.com via B2 Networks with a 7:00 PM pre-game show each night.
