Elma, N.Y. - The Mexican Football Federation has released its 18-player roster that will face the United States of America on September 3rd at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC. Two of those players, Veronica Perez and Pamela Tajonar, will come from the NWSL's regular season champion Western New York Flash.

The players are the Flash's two Mexican national team allocations, and will represent their country as it faces WNY teammates Abby Wambach and Carli Lloyd at 8 p.m. in the nation's capital.

It will be the first time the two teams face each other since January 24, 2012 when the USA was victorious 4-0 in Olympic qualifying. In that game, Lloyd scored her first career hat trick to lift the red, white and blue.

Perez has appeared in all of the Flash's 22 games, collecting one goal and one assist this year. Tajonar has served as the Flash's backup goaltender, earning her first appearance on July 21st against Sky Blue FC and was a member of the 2010 W-League Championship team.

The match will be aired live on Fox Sports 1, the first international soccer game to play on the newly debuted channel.

The Flash will begin postseason on Saturday night, hosting Sky Blue FC at 8 p.m. at Sahlen's Stadium. Tickets for the game are available at wnyflash.com or by calling the Sahlen's Stadium box office at (585) 454-KICK.
