Whitehead scored seven goals in three games as the Ice Flyers went 2-1 last week.

Whitehead came back the next night and recorded his first professional hat trick in a 6-5 loss to Mississippi. Not content with that performance, Whitehead became the first player in SPHL history to record hat tricks on consecutive nights when he scored three times in Pensacola's 6-5 win over Louisiana.
