Pennsylvania Rebellion Sign Infielder Jade Rhodes

PITTSBURGH, PA - The Pennsylvania Rebellion are thrilled to announce they have signed Auburn Alumna Infielder Jade Rhodes to a two-year deal. Rhodes, a four-year starter for the Tigers, received numerous accolades this past season including NFC Third Team All-American, Second Team All-SEC honors and two-time SEC player of the week. In addition, Rhodes set a school record for recording five hits in a game during her 2016 campaign.

"We are excited for Jade to join the Rebellion. She had an excellent senior year and a fantastic College World Series. We are looking forward to her continuing her superior performance for us," says Rebellion General Manger Steve Zavacky.

Rhodes finished her collegiate career at the plate with 154 hits, 179 RBI's, 46 homeruns and a slugging percentage of .575. Defensively, Rhodes' dominated with a .991 fielding percentage.

Rhodes will be traveling back to her alma mater Auburn this Saturday, June 18th as the Rebellion take on USSSA at Jane B. Moore Field.

Rhodes is the daughter of 20-year MLB veteran and World Series Champion Arthur Rhodes.
