
PEI Rocket Head Coach Steps Down

The PEI Rocket announced today that Eric Lavigne has stepped down as Head Coach of the PEI Rocket. Coach Lavigne still had one year remaining in his current contract but decided for personal reasons that it was best to resign. Eric made this decision for family reasons, as he wishes to be closer to his wife and daughters in Quebec.
Serge Savard Jr., President & Governor of the PEI Rocket and personal friend of Eric's wishes him the very best. "I know it was hard for Eric last season being away from his wife and daughters, so I completely understand his decision."
The PEI Rocket will soon start the process of selecting a new Coach to fill the Head Coach Position.
