PEI Rocket Announce "Think Pink" Pasta Dinner

The Rocket have teamed up with East Side Marios and the PEI Run for the Cure committee to create another unique community event. On Tuesday, September 21 as part of Think Pink Week on PEI, the Rocket (players and staff) will be on hand at East Side Mario's in Charlottetown to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. Rocket players and staff will be matched with East Side Mario's staff to serve a pasta dinner between 6:00 and 8:00 pm.
"We wanted to do something extra special for Breast Cancer Awareness", said GM Kent Hudson. "We also wanted to get our players involved and this was a perfect opportunity. This is another part of our Community Outreach Program and something we are very proud of".
Chris Wright of Murphy Group of Restaurants, said "we are proud to be associated with the Rocket and the Run for the Cure in this unique event. It is a great way for us to be involved in Think Pink Week and get more involved with our community".

Tickets are only $15 and are available at CIBC (corner of Queen & Grafton), East Side Marios and the Rocket Office. Tickets will also be available at the door.
The Rocket will once again be planning a Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Jersey night at the CCC on October 29th. The Rocket will wear specially designed pink jerseys when they host the Halifax Mooseheads. Each and every jersey will be raffled off as part of the special event. Tickets are on sale now at CIBC branches across Prince Edward Island and will also be available at upcoming Rocket home games.
