Peacock Heads Back to AAA, Barnhart Added to Pensacola Roster

C Brian Peacock will once again rejoin Triple-A Louisville. The Blue Wahoos catcher was again promoted to the Reds' AAA club on Wednesday. Peacock had recorded hits in 12 of his last 13 games, including a 10-game hit streak at one point with the Blue Wahoos. He joins Louisville for the third time this year.

In 25 games with the Fish this year, the catcher owns a .304 average (24-79) and has driving in eight runs. Peacock's previous stints with the Bats were between May 1 until May 19 and May 27 until June 20.

In his place the Reds have promoted C Tucker Barnhart to Pensacola from High-A Bakersfield. In his 59 contests for the Blaze this year, Barnhart has hit .278 with four homers and 22 RBI. He was selected by the Reds in the 10th round of the 2009 draft by the Reds out of Brownsburg High School in Brownsburg, Indiana.

In a separate move, INF Henry Rodriguez has been activated from the disabled list and transferred to Triple-A Louisville.
