
PBL Releases 2nd Edition of Fast Break Internet Radio Program

CHICAGO (February 19, 2008) - The Premier Basketball League has released the second weekly edition of its new Internet radio program, PBL Fast Break.
This edition of the program focuses on the Eastern Division and Western Division PBL races at the halfway point of the season, as well as details regarding the league's Showcase event in Chicago. Guests will include PBL Chairman of the Board, Dr. Sev Hrywnak, Chicago Throwbacks' owner George Bellevue, Throwbacks' coach Donnie Boyce and Dallas Defenders' guard Lonnie Randolph.
The PBL is the first professional basketball league to produce a regular downloadable Internet radio program, sometimes referred to as a "podcast." PBL Fast Break is available each week during the 2008 season and features news updates and interviews with players, coaches and management making league news. The program provides listeners with an inside look at both the PBL and the game of basketball.
OurSports Central is in its third year of hosting Internet radio programs relating to a number of sports, collectively known as "OurSports Central Radio." A menu of programs can be found prominently on the site's front page. The highly-regarded web site is considered the nation's preeminent source for information on minor league and second-tier professional sports.
PBL Fast Break is produced and hosted by veteran professional basketball play-by-play announcer, Bill Hazen. The program utilizes the latest in digital audio technology to increase the sound quality of interview segments from throughout the league.
