North Iowa Outlaws News Release

Mason City (IA) The North American Hockey League has named Outlaws' forward Jack Paul (Minnetonka, MN) as the Central Division player of the week, marking the second consecutive week an Outlaws player has earned the distinction. Last week Brandon Brodhag (Brooklyn Park, MN) was given the award for the second time this season.

North Iowa forward Jack Paul rang up two goals and three assists as the Outlaws celebrated a two-game sweep over Bismarck. He notched a goal and two assists in a 4-1 triumph on Friday. The next night, the 20-year-old connected for the game-winning goal and an assist as the Outlaws edged the Bobcats, 4-3.

"Jack is the all-time leading scorer at Minnetonka (Minn.) High School, so what he's been doing the last few weeks is true to his form," said Outlaws head coach Jeff Crouse. "He's been a real asset."

The Outlaws (13-10-2) return to action on Friday at the Albert Lea Thunder at 8:15pm.

The North Iowa Outlaws Hockey Club is in its fourth season as members of the North American Hockey League. The NAHL is the nation's largest Junior A hockey league and is now in its 33nd year of operation. For more information, visit northiowaoutlaws.com or call (641) 424-5468.
